The Talbots Sales Support Associate is responsible for receipt and transfer of inventory, stockroom maintenance, assisting in the execution of visual merchandising, sales floor support, backroom duties and other operational duties as assigned by management. This position performs in a supportive and productive manner, operating in the best interest of store performance and customer service.
Requirements
• A high school diploma.
• A minimum of six months of experience in retail sales or shipping/stockroom
• good communication, organizational and computational skills
• ability to prioritize and handle situations with urgency as needed
• ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• ability to move about in a store including climbing ladders and the ability to lift up to 20-25 pounds
• ability to navigate computer systems with intermediate computer and keyboarding skills
